When you turn on the Show Logo and turn off the Show Brand Name, and realize you forgot to set the home page URL link, and turn the Show Brand Name back on to do add the URL Its not there. In fact you lose the ability to click into the brand name and even edit it and the logo has no hyperlink at all. Shouldnt this work by click the logo image and getting the same toolbox other elements have, but with the add image and add URL entries Now, Im still having to manually insert the logo href on each page every time I update and saveAlso, note that itll be the primary way this is used by most users to have a logo and no typed brand name up there The logo should not pick up its link URL from the brand name. It needs direct entered for the logo. If you type a bunch of text, hit return to get a new paragraph, and begin typing that next paragraph, in the app and in preview it appears to carry the same font and style down from the first paragraph to the second paragraph. But, upon publishing, the second paragraph does not actually carry down the font and style its some default, centered, ugly text. However, if you want to go a step further, you could actually take Mobirise into a whole new level of usability by actually implementing our blog feature we have in mind. So3. Add blog block and page. As stated, a couple of lines added to the sites htaccess file enables parsing of HTML pages for PHP, enabling inserting block level bootstrap carousel features like a web store, a blog, or anything else. In our case, were interesting in a simple blog, where the blog itself lives on a Mobirise page with nothing but the menu, this custom block, and the footer. The custom block has the aforementioned PHP blog code. This feature would also add a new block option for the home page, for Recent blog posts. Id suggest a fixed 3 across option and a scrolling option for post images, titles, and and summaries. Clicking the title or image takes you to that entry in the blog pages. Again, we are happy to build this ourselves, given an editable custom code block being provided by you. That way, we get what we need on our own sites. But, if you do this, ALL Mobirise users get a cool built in blogging system. So, to summarize Add an image option to your existing Image and Bootstrap Carousel block. Add a custom code block, including the option to lay the custom code over an image background, with adjustable overlay. Build a two component PHP based blog feature based off the bootstrap carousel PHP script, with a blog page that has a menu at top, and footer at bottom, and the blog code in the middle. Also would be a block tool usable on any page where reduced size excerpts of the posts can be displayed as either 3 or 4 across static, or a horizontal scrolling stream of them where clicking the image or blog post title takes you to that post. We need 1 and 2 now to fully adopt this platform, and we will then build 3 ourselves. Or, if we can come to terms, you can build 3, we will pay you, and you can release it to everyone. As youve realized, a key to broad adoption of any WYSIWYG web builder is to eliminate custom coding to the published site, because then the tool becomes a pain in the ass. Every time the site is changed and republished, all custom code must be manually reinserted into the pages on the server. The biggie here is having a block that accepts custom code that is pasted directly within Mobirise, so it publishes right along with all of the in app tool created content. Voila No more hassles when needing to publish pages including custom code We think that one feature will be a huge thing for a huge number of people considering Mobirise, not just us. Its becoming a real pain not having the adjustable overlay feature with the slider images. Can you add this, please No overlays sends us into bootstrap slider repeatedly iterating lighten darken efforts in and out of Mobirize to get the writing that sits on top to have the right contrast. Its a real pain point. On a couple of landing pages Ive just not done a bootstrap carousel and done a single image header instead, as the overlay tool is there. With most blocks when you add an image, there is a sliding button for selecting if you want an adjustably transparent overlay put over that image to make it darker, so lighter colored text will have more contrast and be more visible. You move the button over to turn on the Overlay, and a sliding adjustment opens beneath where you adjust the level of transparency. With your slider block, you can of course addselect which image goes into 1, 2, 3 or more slides. And, you can then choose to show title, show text, and show buttons over that image. But, that important overlay selection and transparency adjustment is not there for those images. So, if I use a lighter image, or an image with some lighter areas, the text washes out and cannot be seen clearly in bootstrap carousel. With your slider block, for each image added, you need to add the same overlay selector and transparency adjustment slider as you have in other blocks that support images. Andjelko.
